On October 1, 2008 a group of 16 men and women left from Boise First Church for Guatemala. Our goals while we were there were to work in a chapel factory, build two churches for remote villages and worship with a people we had yet to meet.

Little did we know that over the course of the next 10 days, relationships would be built, laughter would be shared, memories made and this journey taken together would be forever forged in our hearts.

To learn more about this trip and read the stories of how God worked in our lives during this adventure click on the pictures of the team member.

WANNA GO TO PERU??
Boise First will be putting together a team of 10 to participate in the Extreme Peru construction project at Puerto Maldonado. We have some committed to go, but there are 5-6 spots open. The dates for the trip are Sept. 24 – Oct. 6, 2009. Each participant will need to raise approximately $2500. This covers airfare from Boise, and all meals, housing and ground transportation in Peru.

The goal of Extreme Peru is to plant 120 Nazarene Churches in four years by mobilizing hundreds of skilled believers from around the world to assist local Peruvian pastors as they impact their unique communities. You can be a part of this big vision for Kingdom building! An informational meeting will be held on Sunday morning April 19th. Questions? www.extremenazarene.org or call the church office.
